The Sales Development Representative is responsible for lead generation, qualification, and lead management into Mid-Size Business & Enterprise accounts to secure qualified leads with key executive stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of telesales experience in a technology related field.  This is an opportunity to significantly impact building a great company while building your sales career!


  • Will conduct 50-80 in-bound or outbound campaign communication activities per day to business prospects in assigned territory.
  • Prospect for and develop leads
  • Perform outbound cold calling to generate leads
  • Rate leads per established criteria and pass off as appropriate
  • Responsible for building sales pipeline by meeting and exceeding lead generation quotas
  • Create and maintain a database of contacts of current and future customers.
  • Provide follow up on demand generation activities
  • Establish account presence and build trust with key contacts
  • Analyze customer needs in terms of current business obstacles, identifying opportunities and scoping potential CloudFactory products
  • Present and articulate current and emerging product features, benefits
  • Collaborate with sales account execs to maximize prospect potential


  • 2-3 years in a telesales position in solution selling environment
  • Energetic, upbeat, tenacious team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to build client relationships over the phone
  • Positive attitude
  • Have met or exceeded personal/team goals and quota
  • Advanced level prospecting and qualification experience
  • Contributed to the overall success of the sales team
  • Strong needs analysis, positioning and qualification skills
  • Desire to establish a career in sales

Nice to Have:

  • Software development knowledge experience, ideally selling enterprise software or solutions
  • General knowledge of how mobile applications work
  • Experience using CRM systems
  • Outstanding relationship building skills with a high degree of responsiveness and integrity
  • Proficiency with standard corporate productivity tools (email, phone skills, Google Apps Suite etc.)
  • Experience in a company where telephone sales training has been given
  • Prior objection handling experience in early markets
  • Able to learn and understand enterprise product solutions and features
  • Bachelors Degree
